Start dates available in the next 2-4 weeks Fully furnished housing provided Return travel provided Up to $74.11/hr (based on exp) Super Plus District Allowance As the Child Health Outreach Program Nurse/AHP is integral to the Child Health Outreach Program working collaboratively with children 0 – 15 years and their families to facilitate and support children with complex chronic healthcare needs through coordination of care to optimise health outcomes. The position has a strong clinical focus on outreach work including liaison with internal and external stakeholders involved in the child and family’s care. The Location: You will be living in Alice Springs which is the hub of the Northern Territory! The perfect base to explore central Australia from. Nestled between the East and West MacDonnell Ranges, ‘Alice’ is famous for its beautiful desert landscapes, colourful outback characters, opportunities for adventure and a strong Aboriginal culture. The Organisation: You will be working for a fantastic health service based in Central Australia. For over 40 years this health service has provided support and advocacy for Aboriginal people in the struggle for justice and equity. They are now one of the the largest Aboriginal community-controlled health organisation in the Northern Territory, providing a comprehensive, holistic and culturally-appropriate primary health care service to Aboriginal people living in and nearby Alice Springs, including five remote communities.
